Glass Dining Tables from Bluprint

Check out our selection of stylish and contemporary glass tables. Our modern dining tables are available in a variety of shapes and sizes including round, square, rectangular and even triangular! We have smaller pieces that are ideal for kitchens and larger items to seat up to 8 people for a more formal dining experience.

We use a variety of fine materials to complement the glass tops of our dining tables. These include stainless steel, chrome, and wood finishes like cherry and walnut. Glass finishes include clear, sandblasted, frosted and black.

All glass used in the manufacture of our tables is toughened to Bristish Standards. Thanks to Futureglass for the following information on tempering:

Glass Tempering

Ordinary glass (annealed glass) is a brittle material; this is due to the microscopic cracks that exist of the surface of the glass. when it breaks it generally forms large dangerous shards which can cut deeply.

The tempering process causes these microscopic cracks to close, making the glass four to five times stronger than annealed glass. This gives the glass a compression value greater than concrete!

If this toughened glass were ever to break, the stored energy is released and the increased bond between the molecules make the glass shatter to form small particles with dulled edges. This toughening process ensures that our products offer the reassurance of conformation to British standard BS6206A for maximum safety.

This has been independently verified by FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association) where the products were awarded a range certificate of safety.
